It is celebrated the weekend closest to the day of Santiago (July 25) in honor of the patron saint of Cómpeta, San Sebastián.
Originally it was an agricultural and livestock fair, used by neighbors and neighboring villages to exchange, buy, sell animals and agricultural products. Taking advantage of the human concentration, the people dedicated to the management of these events, came with their items "fair" until they ended up coming with the "cars shocks" and other fairground attractions.
About the tradition of these events we refer to the history section.
Nothing special to say about it, since its events are repeated in every town throughout the year.
